Rain Loads - The Forgotten Hazard

Description

The webinar will begin with a review of structural damage information from a nationally recognized insurance company. This loss information suggests that structural engineers do not routinely design roofs for rain loading. Four potential reasons for this are presented and discussed. The remainder of the webinar will cover the five easy to follow steps for calculation of rain loads following the ASCE 7 procedures.

  • Course will award 1.5 hours of continuing education
  • Diamond Review approved in all 50 states
