This webinar will cover the main "Special Inspection & Testing" requirements of IBC Chapter 17. The goal is to help the design professional understand the "Who? What? When and How?" of special inspections. It will address the specific criteria for "Statements of Special Inspection" (SSI) and will provide several project examples to help the structural engineer of record determine how to put together a project-specific SSI. The specific requirements for high-wind and seismic regions will be broken down, as well as the requirements for structural observations.
