The Aluminum Design Manual is published by the Aluminum Association every 5 years. The current edition became available in January, 2020 and contains significant changes from the 2015 edition. Because the Manual is adopted by reference in the International Building Code, the Manual has the force of law wherever the IBC is adopted and thus has a significant influence on the use of aluminum in the building and construction market. This course addresses the Manual’s use and the updates in the 2020 edition.
