Today, owners and other project participants are looking for ways to transfer risks to engineering firms by inserting potentially onerous language in professional service contracts. These provisions may also be uninsurable for the engineer. This presentation will highlight about a dozen of these provisions while offering practical edits or other solutions so the engineer can still get a signed agreement while limiting the risk.
