Structural thermal breaks are increasingly being required by code in cooler climates throughout North America to solve issues resulting from thermal bridging. This course introduces structural thermal break solutions for concrete and steel connections. Attendees will learn the benefits of incorporating structural thermal breaks, as well as the structural design considerations when working with structural thermal breaks.
