The 2018 Significant Structural Changes webinar discusses changes to the International Building Code (IBC) and International Existing Building Code (IEBC) structural provisions. Changes to loads, inspection and material requirements are discussed. Differences between the new and existing building codes are highlighted. Also addressed are changes to the 2016 edition of ASCE 7 which affect determination of design criteria in the IBC for environmental loads including wind, seismic, snow and rain criteria.
