Design
Function Identification Training offers guidance to properly identify, classify and document design
functions for any plant system or component, even if the impacted system or
component is not described in the UFSAR.
The course
offers practical examples and skills, including the “cascading up” methodology,
to reduce the burden associated with performing 50.59 screening and evaluations.
This strategy takes a plant system or component from the lowest functional
level to the highest functional level.
