Description

Stress can have a profound impact on every aspect of our lives. Even non-work-related stress can affect an agency’s climate and employee morale, most noticeably through job dissatisfaction, employee turnover, absenteeism, and reduced performance. While you may recognize that you or your co-workers are silently struggling, you may feel powerless to help or perhaps just don’t know where to start.

In this “Feel Good Friday” session, serial entrepreneur and mental-health student Adam Kotter will talk about 3 easy things you can do to improve your own mental health and help those around you. Become more confident by learning to distinguish between someone who is having a bad day and someone who is suffering from a depression or anxiety disorder. More important, learn ways you can help. (Adam will also provide a list of resources for additional information and training.) Make your life and your agency better by investing in what matters most -- people.
