A three-part comprehensive series with an overview on congestive heart failure. Topics include overview, stages, quality indicators, and follow-up patient care.

This webinar series is important to those who work with acute and chronic congestive heart failure patients. Subject matter experts will address key components such as signs and symptoms, treatment, readmissions, social determinants of health, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Up to three CEUs are offered for Nurses, Physicians, Licensed Nursing Home Administrators, and Certified Assisted Living Administrators. (Evaluations and CEUs will be open after each webinar).

Part 1: Feb 14 | 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Natalie Jones, DNP, RN, CCRN, NEA-BC will provide an overview of HF including signs/symptoms, types, SDoH, diversity, equity and inclusion.

Part 2: Feb 21 | 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Diane Marolda, MSN, APN-C, A.A.C.C. will discuss treatment modalities, types of diagnostic testing and staging.

Part 3: Feb 28 | 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Connie Moceri, MSN, RN, AGNP-C; and Ann Mancuso, MSN, RN, CHFN will summarize the outpatient care, follow-up, community resources, heart failure clinics and methods to prevent readmissions.
