This presentation provides an overview of the laws and regulations governing public housing programs in the United States, with a particular focus on New Mexico and Albuquerque. It covers the legal structure of housing authorities, the equity issues underpinning the work of public housing, and how attorneys can assist their low-income and economically disadvantaged clients in accessing housing resources.
