This course presents an overview of the Virginia Sewage Handling and Disposal Regulation 12 VAC 5-610.

This course is appropriate as a review for those renewing their license or for those new to the industry learning the regulations for the first time.  Additionally, the material applies to all licensure categories - conventional or alternative; installer, operator, or onsite soil evaluator. 

The course is divided into six sections:

3. Site and Soil Evaluation
4. Design
5. Installation
6. Operation and Maintenance

This material will help you interpret the Sewage Handling and Disposal Regulations and several key GMPs, but remember to read the regulations and GMPs also, especially if you are preparing for a licensure exam.
