Target Audience New graduate women’s health nurse practitioners (WHNPs), and other nurse practitioners involved in women’s and gender related healthcare.

Approval CE Approval Period: April 4, 2022, through April 4, 2025

Objectives

1. Review appropriate diagnosis, management and treatment of common vulvar disorders.
2. Describe appropriate diagnosis, management and treatment of vulvar and vaginal cancers.
3. Outline appropriate diagnosis, management and treatment of bladder concerns and urinary tract disorders.

Content Outline

1. Vulvar disorders: Contact dermatitis, Lichen simplex chronicus, Lichen sclerosus, Lichen Planus, Vulvodynia.
2. Vulvar and Vaginal cancer: Clinical presentation, diagnosis, management.
3. Bladder health: Urinary tract infections, Bladder pain syndrome or interstitial cystitis, Urinary Incontinence, Renal Stones
