Target Audience New graduate women’s health nurse practitioners (WHNPs), and other nurse practitioners involved in women’s and gender related healthcare

Approval CE Approval Period: April 4, 2022, through April 4, 2025
Post-tests must be completed during the approval period with a passing score of 70% or higher to earn CE. No refunds will be issued if the activity is not completed within the approval period.

Objectives
  1. Discuss assessment, differential diagnoses, and management of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy.
  2. Review assessment, differential diagnoses, and management of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy.
  3. Describe the etiology and prevention strategies for alloimmunization.
  4. List screening and treatment guidelines for Group B streptococcus in pregnancy.
  5. Discuss assessment and management of fetal malpresentation.
  6. Review management strategies for late-term and post-term pregnancies.
  7. Describe screening, testing and management guidelines for gestational diabetes

Content Outline
  1. Nausea and vomiting. Hyperemesis gravidarum.
  2. Rh Alloimmunization and ABO incompatibility .
  3. Group beta strep (GBS).
  4. Fetal malpresentation.
  5. Late term and post term pregnnacy.
  6. Gestational diabetes
