Target Audience This continuing education (CE) activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of nurse practitioners and other clinicians who provide women's and gender-related healthcare.

Educational Objectives: at the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1.  Describe the initial assessment components in a primary care setting for women with an identified pelvic mass.
2.  Discuss the appropriate use and interpretation of serum tumor biomarkers for risk assessment of ovarian malignancy. 
3.  Discuss criteria indicating the need to refer the patient with pelvic mass to a gynecologic oncologist.
