Target Audience
This continuing education (CE) activity is designed to meet the educational needs of nurse practitioners and other healthcare providers who care for women.

Approval CE Approval Period: Now through March 7, 2025
Post-tests must be completed during the approval period with a passing score of 70% or higher to earn CE. No refunds will be issued if the activity is not completed within the approval period.

Objectives
At the end of the session participants will be able to apply the information, tools, and strategies in their personal, state, and federal advocacy work
  1. Discuss policy solutions to address disparities in maternal health outcomes
  2. Examine the importance of inclusive and culturally sensitive healthcare policies
  3. Explore legislative efforts aimed at advancing maternal health equity, highlighting advocacy initiatives and grassroots campaigns working toward maternal health justice.

Accreditation Statement This activity has been evaluated and approved by the Continuing Education Approval Program of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH) and has been approved for 1.0 contact hour CE credit, including 0 hours of pharmacology credit.
