Canine cognitive dysfunction (CCD) is the canine analog of human Alzheimer's disease. There are numerous parallels between conventional pathologic mechanisms involved in dementia and TCVM-based mechanisms. These will be discussed along with integrative treatment options for CCD, including TCVM-based therapies and nutraceuticals.
