This is the first of a two-part review of Controlled Substances for Veterinary Professionals. The second part will be on Jan 16th, 2023.

The first part will cover requirements for recordkeeping and storage of controlled substances in New York. There will also be an interactive discussion on diversion detection and prevention methodologies, including some cases of diversion in various practice settings. Legal disposal of controlled substance for the practice setting and the client will be covered as well.
