Integrative Medicine Webinar: My TOP Exercises and Why

Presented by: Laurie McCauley, DVM

Do you know what are the things you need to think about before choosing an exercise, even before knowing what you need to strengthen? We walk you through this process. If I needed a few exercises that would strengthen the front legs, yet have less load on the joints than walking; strengthen the muscles of propulsion safely; strengthen the muscles that stabilized the front and rear limb joints; and exercises that significantly helped balance and proprioception; that would be helpful. But when we add an exercise that can significantly strengthen one limb with no excess load and no shear force, that makes this lecture a must see.
Learning Objectives:
  1. Learn the top exercises I use in my practice
  2. Review how exercises benefit the body and the mind
  3. Learn or review exercises by muscle fiber length (isometric exercises and when to use them)
