Dr. Agnieszka Kent was raised in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia in Canada. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island in 2007. Agnieszka then went on to complete a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph. In 2011 she completed a three-year residency in Cardiology and a Master’s degree in Comparative and Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University. She received Diplomate status in cardiology from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) in 2011.

Following the completion of her residency, Agnieszka worked in referral hospitals in Montreal, Quebec, and Connecticut. Her love for cardiology started with cardiac physiology and pharmacology during her undergraduate education. However, her true passion is providing compassionate and loving care to her patients and helping their families through the complexities of heart disease. Some of her points of interest include feline cardiac disease, congenital heart disease, and congestive heart failure therapy.

In her spare time Agnieszka enjoys spending time outdoors, snowboarding, hiking, biking, and camping with her husband, two daughters, and Schnauzer mix “Posie.” “She also loves to snuggle on the couch with her cat Frankie and read a book.”
