On-Demand - NYU Langone Oncology Rehabilitation Summit: Optimizing Rehabilitation Outcomes Through Exercise

Course Description

Exercise has been proven to be one of the most effective interventions to improve quality of life for people living with and beyond cancer. Given this evidence, there are few interdisciplinary continuing education opportunities for rehabilitation and medical professionals on how to implement exercise into rehabilitative care protocols.

This course aims to provide those professionals with the most up to date evidence supporting the use of exercise for people living with and beyond cancer. Learners will be educated on how to implement the latest exercise guidelines in a practical manner that fits into current rehabilitation models of care. Novel strategies aimed at making exercise the foundation for oncological rehabilitative care will be explored.
