Emotionally Focused Therapy is globally recognized as a deeply effective therapeutic model for working with couples, families, and individuals. This work shop will familiarize you with the foundational concepts of EFT including its steps, stages, and goals; including the 5 steps of the EFT tango. You will come away with practical interventions you can use immediately in session to help your clients gain new insight, create better connection, and find new solutions to old problems.

Ben Kroff, LMFT
Ben worked for five years in residential and day treatment settings as a psych tech and social service worker before pursuing his Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University, graduating in 2019. He a clinical fellow of The American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, serves on the Northern Utah Emotionally Focused Therapy board, and is the the clinical director at The EFT Clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Ben is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who specializes in working with families, couples, young adults, and teens. He has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). In addition to EFT, Ben has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems, and Aggression Replacement Training. Ben has successfully helped his clients manage conflict, create connection, overcome addiction, reduce aggression, and heal relationships. Ben offers his clients a friendly, inviting, reflective space where difficult feelings, thoughts and behaviors can be safely explored in a non-judgmental atmosphere.
