3 General/Strength-Based CEs
In-Person Workshop Saturday March 2nd, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:15 PM
HALO Project at 401 E Memorial Road, Oklahoma City
This workshop will be delivered by a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician and Clinical Psychologist to offer perspectives on ADHD. Participants will receive general evidence-based didactics regarding ADHD diagnosis and interventions across the lifespan. Participants will also engage with interactive case discussions to contextualize the empirical information presented. Relevant resources will be highlighted and disseminated.
Objectives Include:
-Identify diagnostic criteria, etiology, and prevalence of ADHD and its subtypes
-Discuss common comorbidities and differential diagnosis
-Distinguish evidence-based behavioral and medical interventions
-List accommodations and strategies that may enhance the learning and therapeutic environment for children and young adults with ADHD
-Understand how assessment and treatment may vary depending on the individual's developmental stage

This course meets criteria for 3 hours of general continuing education by the Oklahoma Board of Behavioral Health for Oklahoma LPC and LMFT license holders, by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers (provider #20240088) for Oklahoma LCSW license holders, by the Oklahoma Board of Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselors (certificate #20240018) for LADC and CADC license holders (3 hours non-specific CEs), and for Oklahoma case managers (3 hours strength-based CEs).
