Live Webinar: Ethical Cultural Considerations and Advocacy in Serving Latinx Individuals and Families

This training seeks to provide attendees with increased knowledge of ethical cultural considerations when treating Latinx-identifying individuals and families. Attendees will gain critical tools and techniques based on intersectionality theory to serve the Latinx community in individual, group, and family therapy. After this training, providers will have a thorough knowledge of the diversity within the Latinx community which will contribute to their ability to better treat and advocate for them in clinical and community settings.
Objectives include:
1. Explore current research on ethical cultural considerations for the Latinx community.
2. Examine intersectional approaches to providing treatment to Latinx individuals and families.
3. Determine effective advocacy techniques and interventions for clinicians serving Latinx individuals and families.
4. Gain tools and strategies that promote emotional safety and belonging for the Latinx community.
