Speaker Biography

Tax and Business Planning Advisors of McGill and Lyon Dental Advisors

Mario is a Tax and Business Planning advisor for McGill and Lyon Dental Advisors. He previously worked as a public accountant for Deloitte & Touche in New York City serving a large financial institution. Mario is a graduate of the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a degree in Business Administration and Public Policy, as well as a Master of Accounting degree. He has earned his Certified Public Accountant Certificate and his Certified Financial Planner® Certificate.
As the son of two dentists, Mario has been familiar with The McGill & Hill Group since a young age. Mario combines his background in dentistry and business/financial expertise to help dentists achieve their financial goals.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and golf, reading, trying new food, and traveling.

Tyler is a Tax and Business Planning advisor for McGill and Lyon Dental Advisors. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Tech with a degree in Accounting and Finance. He holds his Certified Public Accounting Certificate in Virginia and North Carolina and is in the process of completing his CFP® certification.
Before relocating to North Carolina and coming to McGill and Lyon Dental Advisors, Tyler managed the financial forecasting and modeling team for the Capital Markets division at Freddie Mac. Prior to that he worked in public accounting at KPMG focusing on structured finance. Tyler and his wife, Heather, live in Charlotte with their sons, Parker and Landon.
