1. Recognize, the esthetic and smile characteristics that can be controlled differently, orthodontically.
2. Identify orthodontic protocols to set up for improved Smile Arc, Incisal display and evaluate techniques for reduction of flaring and creation of a 12 tooth smile.
3. Compare case management techniques for reduced treatment times

Dr. Tom Pitts, DDS, MSD
Dr. Tom Pitts received his BS from the University of Nevada and DDS from the University of the Pacific in 1965. He served in the US Army from 1966-1968, after which he completed his MSD in Orthodontics at the University of Washington. Dr. Pitts is in private practice in Reno, NV and is a past president of the Northern Nevada Dental Society as well as past examiner for the Nevada State Board. He currently serves as an adjunct clinical professor at UNLV and previously served as associate clinical professor at the University of the Pacific. Dr. Pitts is a consultant for OC Orthodontics and has delivered over 1,000 lectures and workshops on clinical and management orthodontics.
