Description
Sagittal first approach to treatment is not a new treatment modality. However, lately it has gained some popularity using different auxiliaries to solve sagittal discrepancies prior to comprehensive treatment. This lecture will discuss a protocol for the sagittal first approach at the initial bonding appointment using light early elastics and PSL brackets.
OBJECTIVES
1) Able to evaluate sagittal concerns and easily set up the light earl elastics for early sagittal success.
2) Able to learn why light early elastics combined with disarticulation will set their cases up for more predictable outcomes.
3) Able to diagnose, treatment plan, and execute treatment with a simple elastic protocol for early sagittal correction.
