This virtual roundtable will re-run the PRIMR23 session
recording, Great Public Education Ideas that Deserve to Be Stolen, along with a
live Q&A and discussion with the session speakers,Amy Puffenberger, Marketing &
Communications Manager, University of Michigan Animal Care & Use Program,
and Lisa Newbern, Chief, Public Affairs, Emory National Primate Research Center
at Emory University. The session
focuses on existing and successful research public education efforts initiated
by universities and biotech organizations to inform the public about research
involving animals. Attendees are encouraged to share their own experiences with
public education efforts and ask the speakers and other members questions about
our community’s role in public education and how to best implement strategies.
