This virtual roundtable will focus on the research ethics and oversight community’s vital role in federal policy making. Led by PRIM&R’s director of public policy and education programs, Sangeeta Panicker, PhD, this roundtable will discuss an overview of the regulatory process, the importance of weighing in on in emerging policy issues and how to engage, as well as PRIM&R’s own process for identifying policy issues and some recently submitted comments.

Virtual roundtables are free events exclusively for PRIM&R members.

    Sangy Panicker is the Director of Public Policy and Education Programs at Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R). Prior to joining PRIM&R she was the Director of Research Ethics at the American Psychological Association (APA).
