Description

Researchers often rely on broad consent provisions to inform research participants that their data may be used in future studies, which includes studies that may reach beyond the original purpose or scope of data collection. Facilitated by Rachele Hendricks-Sturrup, DHSc, MSc, MA, Research Director of Real-World Evidence at the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy, this roundtable will convene a small group of PRIM&R members to discuss their concerns, experiences, and perspectives on best practices to leveraging and advising researchers on uses of broad consent provisions for research participant data sharing and use.
