Meet the Speaker
Meredith Nahm Zozus
Ph.D., CCDM
Associate Professor and Vice Chair for Academic Programs
Department of Biomedical Informatics, College of Medicine, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences
Dr. Zozus joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2016 after an 18-year career at Duke University where she served as the Director of Clinical Data Management at the Duke Clinical Research Institute and the Associate Director for Clinical Research Informatics in the Duke Translational Medicine Institute. Her research focuses on data quality in health care and health-related research including collection and management of data for clinical studies and assessment and use of EHR data. In addition to published research findings, she has led the development of six Health Level Seven data standards, and last summer published The Data Book, that covers the fundamental principles behind the collection and management of research data. In 2017 she developed and now leads the first Biomedical Informatics graduate degree program in the United States with a track dedicated to Clinical Research Informatics.

Meredith serves the Clinical Research Data Management and Informatics community as the Chief Editor of the GCDMP©, and is with us today to talk about the revision process for the GCDMP© and the draft chapters that will soon be out for public comment.
