This courses page lists all Live CE Webinars and Video On-Demand CE Courses (coming soon) available. Live CE Webinars are watched live via Zoom teleconference software. Video On-Demand CE Courses involve watching a recording of the CE event and passing a multiple-choice test. 

APA Division 17, Society of Counseling Psychology is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. APA Division 17, Society of Counseling Psychology maintains responsibility for this program and its content. APA Division 17, Society of Counseling Psychology is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Psychology as an approved provider of continuing education for Licensed Psychologists #PSY-0157. Attendees are responsible for confirming with their state board that SCP is approved to offer CE.

Attendance policy for Live CE Webinars: Please note that participants must join the Zoom Webinar for this program via computer/laptop and attend the full program (e.g., logged in for 50+ minutes for a one-hour CE) to earn the CE credit.

Refund/cancellation policy for Live CE Webinars: Persons who have paid a fee to access a CE offering may receive a full refund if they cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start time of the event. Refunds cannot be provided for cancellation requests made after that time point.

Attendance policy for Video On-Demand CE Courses: Please note that participants must watch the entire course video and pass the Achieved Learning Test to earn CE credit.

Refund/cancellation policy for On-Demand CE Courses: Persons who have paid a fee to access a CE offering may cancel prior to accessing the course to receive a full refund. No cancellations or refunds will be offered once the course has been accessed.

Achieved Learning Test policy for On-Demand CE Courses: To earn CE credit, attendees must achieve a passing score on the Achieved Learning Test. It is a multiple choice test (about 7 multiple choice items per credit hour) that assesses achieved learning of the content. A passing score is ≥ 75% of the total points. No partial credit is given for scores below 75%. Attendees are allowed a maximum of 3 attempts to achieve a passing score.
