Specifications that are clear, correct, and up to date play a vital role in help avoid to massive cost overruns, change orders, and schedule delays. Evolution and innovations in the cold-formed steel framing industry increase the odds that your specifications are not current.

Learning objectives
  1. The program will reinforce awareness of the crucial role that construction specifications play in a successful project.
  2. The impacts of these changes in standards and quality assurance will be evaluated.
  3. Attendees will also learn about “good practices” that can further improve the clarity and accuracy of their CFS specifications.
  4. Attendees will learn about the alternative methods for bringing architectural specifications into line with the current codes and standards.
This course is registered with AIA CES and participants will earn 1 “Learning Unit” in the “Health, Safety, Welfare” category. Credit(s) earned on completion of this course will be reported to AIA CES for AIA members.

This course also qualifies for 1.0 PDH under the Florida Board of Professional Engineers (FBPE).
