Please note: The series may be purchased as a bundle for $125-$200 or purchased by individual webinars.
Understanding how humans behave during fire is essential to
designing effective evacuation systems and ensuring life safety during fire and
other emergency events. As such, the public benefits from consistent
understanding of the factors that influence the responses and behaviors of
people when threatened by fire and the application of reliable methodologies to
evaluate and estimate human response in buildings and structures. This webinar
series will assist fire protection engineers in better understanding basic
human behavior theory, data available to fire protection engineers, and tools
used for evacuation design. There will also be a discussion on how these
principles are used in fire protection engineering practice.
Part 1: Theory & Data - May 6
Part 2: Tools for Evacuation Design - May 13
Part 3: Engineering Practice - May 20
Part 4: Power Hour - May 27
All sessions take place from 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM ET
