The world of
work continues to change as the transformational 2020s, the Great Resignation,
a generational turnover, DEI, and a pandemic collide in ways none of us could
have predicted. A toxic workplace is the reason many are leaving: culture
fails, reasonableness disagreements about work volume, pay equity, values
misalignments, revisiting how we choose to live and redefining what professional
success means to us individually.
The struggles
of leadership and our career arcs remain. How can we address the era we live
in, develop behaviors that influence our surroundings positively, engage in
ways that elevate our experiences, and take control of our work/life
experience? How do we practice de-escalation and invite healthy debate instead
of polarizing conflict? What if we could not only impact our work lives and
companies but also our society? Let’s explore what is happening, commit to
designing a new experience for this era, and crowdsource solutions from the
wisdom of our experiences.
