Live Webinar: May 19, 2022.  The webinar will outline the new code requirements in the US model building codes pertaining to mass timber construction. Delineation between light frame, heavy timber, and mass timber construction will be provided with a focus on the new construction types for mass timber, Types IV A, B and C. The presentation will also outline the reference standards applicable to those code provisions (NDS, FDS, PRG-320) and discuss the adoption of these mass timber code provisions in various jurisdictions throughout the US.
