The world is shifting to renewable energy and wind is one of its leaders. This seminar explores the impact of fire and the role of fire protection engineering on the wind industry. Fire is not a trivial hazard for the wind industry and it remains understudied.

Guillermo is Professor of Fire Science at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Imperial College London and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Fire Technology.
