  • Timothy Carman, PE

    Timothy Carman has worked in the fire protection industry since 1985. He has specialized for the past 22 years in Special Hazards suppression systems including; Clean Agents, CO2, Dry Chemical, and Detection & Control Systems, and has held roles in Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and Business Development. He is currently the National Sales Manager for Janus Fire Systems and is a Past President of both the Fire Suppression Systems Association and the Cascade Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. Tim is a registered Fire Protection Engineer in the State of Oregon and resides in Portland.

  • Jeremy Lebowitz

    Jeremy is a Market Leader at Jensen Hughes, where he has specialized in hazardous material safety throughout his 13-year career. His technical experience includes building and fire code consulting / compliance, fire protection and alarm system design, fire safety and risk assessment audits, combustible dust hazard evaluations, chemical hazard reviews and explosion protection. Jeremy is a registered fire protection engineer (PE) with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering, both from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He serves on two NFPA 30 technical committees for protection of flammable and combustible liquids in storage and use, and he is a member of the NFPA 30 correlating committee.

  • Stephen Dale

    A Director of Technical Services for the Loss Control Department at The Cincinnati Insurance Company, Stephen leads a unit of subject matter experts in fire protection, employee safety, construction risk management, product safety and transportation safety. A fire protection engineer and property loss control specialist, Stephen serves as a principal on four NFPA committees; is a member of SFPE’s CPD committee; leads the SFPE PE Exam Review course; and is Vice President of the Tri-State SFPE chapter. Prior to joining Cincinnati Insurance, Stephen worked as an HPR Engineer at Zurich Insurance and in various loss control and technical specialist roles at Liberty Mutual Group. Stephen has a bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University, has completed a Certificate in Technical Leadership from the University of Wisconsin, is a licensed professional engineer (PE) and holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) designations.
