Description:
This presentation will review the codes and standards history relative
to storage batteries, the use of current codes and standards for ESS
installations, and what needs to be submitted to the AHJ. Time
permitting some examples of permit process issues will be reviewed.

Upon completion of this course
participants will be able to:
- Understand the development of codes and standards start to regulate battery storage and what type of battery storage was initially regulated
- Describe the current standard of care for ESS installations regardless of codes adopted locally and how the AHJ can apply the current standard of care.
