This VA Special Series session, Differences in Health Outcomes and Adherence to Evidence-Based Therapy in Veterans with Diabetes: Application of Novel Statistical Methods, was originally presented at the SGIM22 annual meeting in Orlando (April 2022).
This session focuses on innovative application of statistical methods to develop insights on how responses to diabetes treatments differe by race-ethniciy, sex, age, and location. Presenters demonstrate with research how to model complex time to event outcomes with competing risk and multivariate longitudinal outcomes to understand the relationships between evidence-based therapy and diabetes outcomes in Veterans.
