Welcome to SIAM's Meetings and Conferences Speaker Presentations
The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) is an international organization of professionals with an interest in mathematics and computing and their applications. Our mission is to build cooperation between mathematics and the worlds of science and technology through our publications, research, and community.

Goals of SIAM

  • To advance the application of mathematics and computational science to engineering, industry, science, and society.
  • To promote research that will lead to effective new mathematical and computational methods and techniques for science, engineering, industry, and society.
  • To provide media for the exchange of information and ideas among mathematicians, engineers, and scientists.
Intended Audiences The SIAM Annual Meetings and the Activity Group conferences provide a broad view of the state of the art in applied mathematics, computational science and their applications. The target audience for these presentations are applied mathematics and computational scientists who are researchers and/or practitioners from academe, industry, and labs. The audience includes students and post-doctoral fellows.
