The SIAM Conference on Applied Mathematics Education took place September 30 – October 2, 2016 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Themes of the conference included modeling across the curriculum, from early grades to grad school and from math and statistics to partner disciplines. In addition there was a focus on the first two years of college: program and curriculum development and research; assessment and evaluation; impact of and on common core; connections to business, industry and government (BIG).
