The first in the SIIA Future Leaders Committee three-part webinar series designed for younger members who are new to the self-insurance industry.
We’ll start by covering the basics of how self-insured health plans along with employer considerations on whether this option is right for them. The presentation will then touch on important related topics such as stop-loss insurance, category of vendors, captive insurance/level-funded arrangements, and other details that younger self-insurance industry professionals need to know.

Lisa Elder
Lisa is a passionate, Denver-based sales professional with over a decade of experience in healthcare solutions and business development. She is responsible for all growth and strategy of new enterprise clients at First Stop Health.
She has prior experience in healthcare technology at Compass Professional Health Services (now Alight Solutions), as well as with Maestro Health. Lisa also serves as a Committee Member of the Self-Insurance Leaders Institute of American (SIIA) Future Leaders Coalition.
Lisa has earned a BA in International Studies and Communications from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Health Systems Administration from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

Will Rumsey
In Will’s role as Specialty Care Management's Senior Vice President of Sales, Will Rumsey is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the company's sales organization. This includes developing and implementing sales strategies, managing the Sales and Customer Experience Teams, setting sales targets and goals, building, and maintaining relationships with clients and partners, and driving revenue growth for the organization.
Prior to his role at SCM, Will most recently held a leadership position at First Stop Health, a Telemedicine and Virtual Primary Care Firm based out of Chicago, IL. Additionally, Will has experience with Medical B2B Sales, International and Sales Management.
Will received his B.S. from Ithaca College as well as his MBA from University of Birmingham (UK), and resides in Syracuse, NY with his wife and 2 children.
