Freda Bacon
Freda Bacon is the Administrator for the Alabama Self-Insured Worker’s Compensation Fund.Freda joined the Fund in 1984, which is the largest writer of worker’s compensation in the State of Alabama.
Freda is a member of the American Society of Association Executives, the Alabama Council of Association Executives, the Insurance Marketing Association of Alabama, the National Council of Self-Insurers, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Business Council of Alabama.She is a current member of the Vestavia Hills Sunrise Rotary Club.She is a registered lobbyist in Alabama and in Washington, DC.
Freda has been a long time member of SIIA, serving as Chair of the Worker’s Compensation Committee, and is past President and Chair of the Board of Directors of SIIA.She is currently a member of SIIA’s Worker’s Compensation Committee and serves on the Board of the Self Insurance Education Foundation.
