The first ever SLA-wide climate survey, produced by SLA’s Diversity Inclusion Community Equity (DICE) Caucus, was distributed to the membership in February 2020. The goal was to hear the voices and experiences of our membership, learn how supportive and inclusive members feel SLA is, and understand the degree to which our members feel discriminated against in SLA. We also hoped to obtain actionable results and suggestions. This session, led by Michael Sholinbeck and Amy Trost of DICE, will present key findings from the climate survey, focusing on some specific suggestions for actions SLA could pursue. There will be time for questions and discussion as well.
