  • Meredith Potter MBA, RD, LD, SNS

    Meredith is the Director of School Nutrition for the Houston County School District in Georgia. Meredith has over 10 years of experience in school nutrition. Her educational background includes undergraduate degrees from the University of Georgia in Dietetics and Consumer Foods and a master’s degree from Georgia College in Business Administration. She is also a recipient of the Silver Rising Star FAME Award. Prior to becoming part of the school nutrition community, Meredith was a UGA Family and Consumer Sciences Extension agent in Madison, Georgia.

  • Lauren Koff MS, RD, LD, SNS

    Originally from Atlanta, Lauren has been the dietitian for the Houston County School Nutrition Program for the past seven years. She started working in restaurants in high school and continued while completing her undergraduate degree in psychology from the George Washington University. She went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition from the University of Georgia before focusing on foodservice management during her dietetic internship.

  • Steven Hornyak

    Coordinator of Accountability for Houston County Schools, a large public school district in Georgia. In his role, Steven works closely with administrators and teachers through data analysis to develop and implement specific strategies to improve student learning. Steven also oversees program effectiveness, research, and evaluation activities in the district.
