K12 Sales Manager - Central
Rick McCain is the K12 Sales Manager for the central region at Land O' Lakes, including 14 states in the midwest from Montana to North Dakota all the way down to Texas. He has been in this role since 2017. At the beginning of his career, he owned and operatored two restaurants for 11 years. During this time, he also earned an MBA from the University of Arkansas. He then entered the CPG world where he was a logistics analyst, category analyst, category manager and national accounts manager selling to almost every big box and small chain retailer in the nation, focusing mostly on Walmart. Working for Fortune 500 companies Stanley Tools, Spectrum Brands and Land O'Lakes, he sold products to both sides of the store, which allowed him to gain valuable knowledge in both the retailer side of business and the internal side (manufacturing). After 12 years managing national accounts, he moved to work inside corporate where he managed all sales communication and planning for the retail side of Land O' Lakes.
