    Description

    Supply Chain Series

    January 12, 2022

Supply chain disruptions are prompting school districts to begin thinking differently and driving innovation to develop more efficient solutions. One solution is the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) - an internet-based, interconnected network of interoperable data pools governed by GS1 standards. The GDSN enables companies around the globe to exchange standardized product master data with their trading partners. Join this webinar to learn more about GDSN and how it can help you better address current supply chain shortages. This includes learning how to use industry standard technology protocols to access accurate product information, and to generate more timely and accurate forecasts to share with distributors and other supply chain partners. Perspectives from a diverse panel of stakeholders will include two school operators, a supplier, and distributor will be shared.

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES
    1. Identify the root causes of supply chain issues related to non-standardized data sets and ones that we can impact.
    2. Understand GDSN standards, protocols, and key attributes.
    3. Identify practical applications and examples of how GDSN data can simplify the activities of K-12 operators and other stakeholders.
