Encore | A Series of Annual Meeting Webinars

You’ve been notified of a proposal submission – now what? Starting and navigating the pre-award process can feel a bit overwhelming unless you have the right tools and resources. Join Mindy McGill-Carlison (Senior Pre-Award Specialist) and Su Ghosh (Pre-Award Research Operations Team Lead) from Cornell University on a comprehensive review of the proposal process from notification to submission. This session will examine the critical elements of the proposal development process including identifying key information needed to initiate development, extracting pertinent information from Request from Proposals (RFPs), tools and methods of organization and communication for proposal success, basic budget elements and development, and working with collaborators. With over twenty years of combined pre-award experience, Mindy and Su will share their experiences with the pre-award process, discuss common pitfalls and how to avoid them, as well as best practices developed over the course of thousands of proposals submitted. If you are new to the world of pre-award research administration or even if you are looking for ways to improve your processes, this will be the webinar for you!
