Captain Joseph J. Fitzpatrick, II is a cyberspace operations officer serving at the 707 Communications Squadron at Ft. Meade, MD where he commands a 14-operator defensive cyberspace operations team that provides mission assurance to national security systems supporting critical missions around the globe. Previously, he was serving at the 1st Combat Communications Squadron at Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany where he was the flight commander of the Network Operations Flight and the officer in charge of the Air Force’s first tactical mission defense team. He has led multiple missions in Poland, Estonia, and Djibouti in support of NATO and counter-violent extremist originations operations.
