Corrections and Public Health Partnerships: Working to Eliminate TB Behind Bars

Objectives of this Webinar: 

 1.  Explain the importance of collaborations between public health and corrections to decrease transmission of tuberculosis and increase the importance of treatment for patients with disease in correctional settings to improve patient care. 
 2.  Describe 2 partnership examples between Corrections and Public Health which aided public health awareness of tuberculosis and improved patient care in correctional settings. 
 3.  Identify novel methods to increase and optimize best practices within correctional facilities to enhance communication and collaboration for tuberculosis and understand how to implement at least one method in their own setting.

To complete the course and receive credit for one continuing nursing education (CNE) contact hour, do the following:
